Pat, I am going to have to get Cable TV --- I keep missing all these wardrobe comments.

:o)

BTW --- my estimate is already taken. I think we will have a split announcement.

Pat,

I figured you'd notice the jacket. Why she bothers with buttons is beyond me? Well she's wrong with those numbers.

I'm going with .73 a split will be announced when Dell is between 90 and 100 which will be about a week after earnings or so.

Pat,

I think Dell will beat whisper by a couple cents, let's say .68. But my own personal run with this stock is about finished with it's terrific runup. I think Dell is fairly valued at best at this point, so I'm taking a majority of my return and have moved it into stocks that I believe have more upside potential. MRK, INTC, CPQ. (I know CPQ runs even with Dell but it does not have the valuation "problem" and I think will outperform Dell) ALSO, if Dell comes up short, look out below.

I think there might be an upside blip after earnings, after which I will probably be out totally. I want to thank everyone on this thread for teaching me so much. I'm still a real rookie and continue to learn.

I realize I'm contradicting my past posts, but I think Dell's visibility is going to adversely affect the stock's price. This company has given me something to build on, and I am very grateful for that. When what has grown to 40% of my net worth is tied up in one very volatile stock, I have to reconsider my position. This is one very tough pony to ride. Somebody once wrote on this thread "Living and dying with this stock is the worst way to live" and I couldn't agree more.

I was considering liquidating my position this past summer but decided to hold out and I am glad I did. 800% is not bad, but lately I've been asking myself "How much is enough?"

800% is.

Adios Amigos,
JH

p.s. Bought my wife a nice ruby and diamond bracelet for her support. Think I'll just take a painting class now.
