Different kids have different needs. Some kids are going to be physicists, doctors, teachers, artists, musicians, plumbers, pastry chefs, janitors, maintenance workers, and kids coming from various social and economic background. Kids have different needs. It is not something that can easily be addressed. IMO we have to start with a recognition of the problem and chip away this massive problem. There is no magic bullet. People with simple slogans are the problem. They should have some humility and allow people with more knowledge and hands on knowledge to slog their way through this very difficult but very crucial problem.
