Inre to rebate: Well my attitude about rebates are I believe'em when I get the check. Sometimes they are more worry than they are worth. I usually get the check because I am careful to read the fine print and make copies just in case.

But that's certainly a good deal. No convenient Best Buy around here though. I see mail order prices are about 42$ though. At this point I am cheap enough to wait to get more memory in my next machine. I'm not sure how much more there will be for me to benefit from the lost time to get it and install it with the risk of having to figure out what went wrong, if it does. All to have a little faster time for another month or two.

Inre to games I understand Riven is quite good. Haven't played it yet, but I enjoyed Myst so I probably will end up getting it. I just played with a game called Postal that is a non-stop shoot'em up arcade, a trifle bloody, but entertaining after a day of following the markets.

Gee, all the talk of memory got me to order an additional 32mb for my Thinkpad. I ordered from CDW at 5:30 PM CDT. It was on my desk at 9:00 am this morning. That's service!
