This is a script right out of The Manchurian Candidate. James Gregory played the bufoon Senator who complains to wife Angela Lansbury that she keeps changing the number of communists that he's threatening to expose in his daily press appearance, and he can't keep the number straight. Can't she just give him one number to remember? Lansbury yells back to him, Idiot, I give you one simple thing to do, can't you just do it? While you keep changing the number of communists in government, the press will report the changing number instead of looking elsewhere into other things that are going on. It's no longer "are their communists in government, it's how many communists are there?" That's what the Leftist MSM is doing to Cain. The script is now "Is it one woman, two women, four women, more? It's no longer "Did he do it?"
