Intel sold that many less chips.

Intel's greatest competition is the market and not amd cyrix or dec.
Intel is focused on growing the pie and holding their share of said pie.

Define a lot. I have not heard a lot switch to amd.....I have heard Jerry's bravado. HE seems to be a snake oil salesman rather than any type of ace.

I recall being excoriated on this thread for having a short position on amd @44.
