You are right, but US manufacturing being in the dumps
and NG being a US local commodity also has something
to do with the low price. Oil is certainly helped by
the Asian boom, while NG is not.

The rig count is low, so production adjusted, yet
there is a glut in ng market. Also there is no
adequate investment vehicle for NG due to high
storage costs, it simply makes no sense, certainly
not now when there is a glut and the cost is high.
