>>S&P Capital IQ and Citi both downgrade ALU to sell. The former slashes its price target to EUR1 from EUR2.50 while Citi goes to $1.38 from $5.79<<

Interesting that Citi's price target are precise to the 2nd digit in particular since they revised them down by 80% after a earnings release.

Based on their track record, they should rather give a price target with a reasonable margin of error, like 1-5 Euro. LOL.

I feel pretty bad about this company. Lucent was one of the greatest R&D companies ever. Its decline was presided over by ceo pat russo who i think is a recent addition to the board of Hewlett Packard. I will never understand why people who seemingly failed miserably at their last jobs are so easily able to engorge themselves at the investor trough.
