Rick, according to an analyst that I read, their opinion was that the tax selling has already been done with the last drop in the market. The money is sitting on the side, waiting to see if there is another drop, but their should be some big buying soon, because the portfolio managers need to shore up their year end numbers.

JMHO,

Bruce

That's my understanding too, Rick, that this is the time of year for it.

According to my tax man who I asked that same question yesterday is that the last day for tax loss would be the day after Christmas if the market is open on the 26th(?).

If you go by what happened in the last few years, generally Nov/Dec are not good months for holding since many sell off some of their postions for tax reasons or to pay for gifts and other items. However, it is a good time for buying if one uses a six month timetable to buy/sell.

I'm glad you pointed out the fact that many penny stocks were down yesterday, not just RMIL as some would gleefully highlight.

Thanks,

-Ken-
