BREAKING...Ice Cream Sandwich source code to be released on November 17th

The latest and the biggest Google phone, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, is slated to be released on the 17th of November, this year. Google has already planned to launch the source code of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) on the very same day.

The release of the source code should be a reason to rejoice for all the existing Android users and device manufacturers since the secret sauce shall enable them to customize the OS according to their tastes and custom user interfaces, before the existing phones get the updates, and new ones get launched.

Of course, the Samsung Galaxy S II has already been pegged to support ICS. For other devices that might get the ICS update, you can check out this nifty list put together by Engadget.
