That's a horrible story ... but there's something funny about it. It's Socorro TX, near El Paso. Thinking about it, knowing what border TX is like, I figured that place has to be 90%+ hispanic. So I looked it up and yeah, it's actually 97.1% hispanic. There are only 86 black people total in a city with over 30K people, almost all of whom are hispanic. Hispanic - 30,331 (97.1%) White alone - 498 (1.6%) American Indian alone - 253 (0.8%) Black alone - 86 (0.3%) Other race alone - 38 (0.1%) Two or more races - 23 (0.07%) Asian alone - 11 (0.04%) Read more: http://www.city-data.com/races/races-Socorro-Texas.html#ixzz1dJOI9E4R It ought to be easy to find the four black guys, there are only 86 there. There might be fewer after this incident.
