I still don't see that O'Keefe's current project is that meaningful.

so he caught a reporter saying that Christie is an asshole...so what? Reporters are entitled to their opinions.

If this is leading to something where he is showing collusion in the media, such as with the journo-list, I'd say it was important work. But so far I don't get it.
