Jon Stewart had an excellent funny bit on Jon Corzine.

The Walking Debt

Politician Jon Corzine saw Lehman Brothers as a cautionary tale; financial firm honcho Jon Corzine saw it as a dare.

This shocking loophole, which is available to all commodity traders, whether giant ones like Goldman Sachs or members of commodity exchanges, means that huge risks are being taken with money that does not belong to the trading firms

Hmm.. and this bodes well for commodity positions?

Seems to me that anyone executing commodity trades is going to be forced to spread out their assets amongst numerous trading firms..

Supposedly SIPC covers accounts in MF Global, but all positions are going to be liquidated and cash paid out.. That's a lot of commodity related trades to be unwound..

But the major problem is going to be finding a credible commodity trading firm that investors/speculators can actually trust with their accounts.

If Fleck can get nailed (he's a pretty damn savvy guy) then it's going to give pause to a lot of other people as they do their due diligence.

Btw, if we recall the trading in GLD between July and October, 2008, Gold took nearly a 40% hit before it later surge in the midst of QE 1/2..

The USD, on the other hand, SURGED hugely as commodity carry trades were quickly unwound.

I expect the same to occur, especially if there is additional pressure from a declining Euro and EU going into forced austerity (hard recession).

Experiment Football tournament. That was her 1st trip abroad alone.
Experiment with red boots. They ended up fourth place among 6 teams. Having had only 3 months of training and 4 weeks of gym to prepare it was a good result.
