Hi CommanderC-

In March & April 2011 we were well above $100.00/barrel and stayed above $110/barrel for a few weeks. Oil stocks were 40% higher at least according to the basket of small E&P stocks I follow. Maybe this is the next sector that will run higher if money begins to flow back into this sector.

In the 4th quarter 2010 and 1st quarter 2011 the E&P stocks moved up 40%. If the current Oil & NG reports continue to show draw down, we should see a big pop higher in these stocks. I do notice that my large integrated Oil stocks are closer to those past highs than my smaller E&P stocks. CVX has had the biggest move and XOM seems to be the lager.

FWIW, Oil is above $98.00/barrel this AM before the open.
