I'd agree that it's not the social programs in this country that are at the epicenter of our problems. That's GOP mythology. Rather, the real root cause is the walking dead, criminal zombie banks who are sucking up Federal bailouts faster than the Fed can print money. You want to save the social programs? Then you'd better get behind the Occupy Wall Street crowd and force our leaders to take action against the big banks to break them up, regulate them, and put their executives in jail. After that, then disband the Fed and reinstate some of the old laws like Glass Steagel.
