Fortunately, I am not among the less affluent nor the 1% but have enough finances to survive.

don't bet on it.

The Secretary of Defense say's it will be disastrous for our military.

the secretary of defense doesn't understand economics. if the country is destroyed economically, we're nearly as defeated as we would be if we had lost a major war.

And, just think the impact on our States and social programs for the less affluent.

and just think what will happen when your dollars won't buy crap.

Seems to me that OBama and the Democrat's outsmarted the Republicans again with the Super Committee.

i agree with you on that one.

Guess the Publican's will have to have a revenue increase in the Super Committee's proposal to resolve the differences and put the economy on the right track.

at this point a tax increase means a decrease in revenues. they'll never 'put the economy on the right track' because they don't know what they're doing. they all believe in keynesianism.

"Seems to me that OBama and the Democrat's outsmarted the Republicans again with the Super Committee.'

I agree. Obama has no intent of working out a compromise. His reelection is his only priority. He could care less about what is good for this country. He wants a political issue that benefits him. I haven't seen this level of ruthlessness since Richard Nixon was in office.
