TSO is shipping Bakken oil by rail to their refinery on the west coast .

I posted that NS was shipping oil by rail to New Jersey. I know that I read that but I have not been able to substantiate that post when I searched again so I'll back off that claim for now. They are off loading Bakken oil in Louisianna in a joint venture with .
An average train can carry 60,000 to 100,000 bbls of crude. So it would take
approx 10 to 12 trains a day to replace a 680,000 bbl day pipeline, which is feasible, so even if the Keystone XL is never built we can still access the oil in the Bakken. Everyone has an opinion but I think it will still be built. There is a far cry between Bakken oil and the dirty tar oil crude out of Alberta. I can't imagine the 2 products being transported in the same pipeline, that is one question I have about the Keystone XL.
