The analysts seem to have exactly the same ideas that I and seemingly TI have. That the value of Amati lies in its intellectual property, R&D team and business relationships with other equipment manufacturers. Those are a very valuable assets. Westell may not be able to afford Amati after another bidder entered and in that case the relationship with TI which they negotiated may be the best course of action they can take. But Westell without Amati is a much weaker company than it would have been if they would have merged with Amati.
