Oh My Gosh, WHAT a Mess that must have been....but more importantly, were either of you burned? I sure hope not! Your story reminded me of an earlier mess I made in the kitchen (other than the green and purple dragon and lion, etc pancakes I used to make for my sisters....I was only 12 and was fascinated with how coloring changed things and if you felt like eating them or not.....<ggg> Wicked chemist!) Any earlier mess... mother had just painted the kitchen yellow with white trim....early 50's.... I was getting the jug of grape juice from the 'fridge, and yep, you guessed it....it slipped out of my hand, and went SPLAT ALL OVER the floor, white quarter rounds, and yep even some of the yellow walls....You can wash the sticky stuff off, but you can NEVER get purple spatter drops off either of those paints....eventually, to much grumbling, she had to repaint the kitchen.... Don't know if I've had purple grape juice again after that episode...! <ggg>
