OT. You might be interested in a farming concept my students are working on now seawaterfoundation.org There is a private venture in Mexico by the same people who did the Eritrean farm. We are building templates to share with a town in Chile. We reference Lovelock's Gaia Theory (NOT the new agey off shoots and crazy stuff) and Biomimicry ideas as well. asknature.org These ideas are based on the work of Bill Mollison who wrote books in the 70's called Permaculture 1 and 11 and who continues his work even now.
