'At least Obama is bringing the troops home from Iraq for Christmas. About time.' Yippie.. we are getting out of at least one of these stupid wasteful wars that was longer than our Civil War and WW II combined. My theory always has been a main reason we kept it going was as an economic stimulus that the GOP would never allow to be replaced here at home. Thus would have been a big drag on our economy..I know quite sad when we could have flown the mission accomplished banner two years ago and bailed on both wars with honor just as easily.. The killing of Bin Laden would have been another opportune time but obiously doesn't matter in the 'big picture'.. Obama I think really tried to be a uniter balancing different factions. I just wonder if he had been a white guy with a southern accent if he would have been accepted more by the right?
