That is from Ronald Nash born in 1936 , an EvangelicalBaptist philosopher and apologist in the Calvinist tradition ? If you are going to convey an idea try to do it in your own words and not cut and paste these off base , long winded slanted , baptist fringe theology pieces . They're not even well thought out ...

No self-respecting Platonist would ever teach a doctrine of bodily resurrection. Basic to Platonism is the belief that death brings humans to a complete and total deliverance from everything physical and material.

Any more than most Christians that do not practice the divine charge of Jesus Christ himself of "Love thine Enemies" ...you have demonstrated that so clearly . But you still can claim to be a Christian though you do not practice this central direct command of "The Lord" , or is it as it seems a game of pick & choose ?

What is the most important thing , what the Lord taught or how YOU or Ronald Nash interpret the Logos, scripture & history ?
It is very clearly written what the Christ Jesus said , taught above & was central to his thinking
and by your belief therefore "God's thinking " .

( or do you need a translator for Jesus too ?)

Guys like this would either turn out to be insurance salesman , car salesman or slick accountants
if they didn't get a phd from some rinky dink seminary and make a living from religion .

Can you say "Dodo" ?

Nash does mention Fredrick Copleston a Jesuit that leads onto a famous 1948 debate between he & Bertrand Russell on your favorite subject "relativity of moral values" and the existence of God

quite a bit more interesting this is 60yrs ago , than any current debates with Billy Craig ...enjoy .
