Obama and Hilary Clinton stand head and shoulders above anyone else in debating skills. I would pay a fortune to witness a Perry-Bush debate hosted by anyone but FOX anywhere anytime on any topic with no access to notes or smart phones at the podium..lol

There are several reasons Bush won in 2004 (I presume you are talking about 2004 and not 2000). The country was at war and by then he had not goofed that much for the people to reject him at a time when the country was at war. But the main reason was this one that Rove jumped on "I voted for before I voted against...." something that we see Romney doing now. I guess it is in the water in Mass.
