zen and art of motorcycle maint...good book....anyways : clear-logic they have not yet done anything .IDT is a major investor and will act as the foundary for clear-logics customers. This is not as good as owning clear-logic. ZBT zero bus turnaround has a major competitor in cypress.Cypress has a 0bl or zero bus latency product.I do not know how this is going although micron and motorola licensed zbt from IDT.It is used in the dual port sram product which is used by the telecom switching industry. Fusion memory or multibank DRAM is licensed from mosys .IDT is a minority owner in mosys.IDT uses the Multi Bank Dram as a replacement for SRAM in its ATM Switch(SwitchStar) it has the speed of SRAM but the physical charateristics of DRAM smaller size than sram and uses less power.I think they are also trying to use fusion on graphics cards but this I cant back this up. Also of interest is the IDT MIPS business.The recent wins of Lucent and Yuri are significant as well as the WebTv II deal with microsoft.
