Further delay from GTE? There is some concern that GTE may reneg on their CAP-based soulution from WSTL and "wait" for the DSP DMT solution or a DSP-based CAP solution. This could further delay GTE's entry into the market.

But if they're not testing anyone else's equipment, and have gone to stage 2 with a 1000 lines, it generally means, they need to test their systems more. If WSTL's equipment wasn't cutting it, they would have introduced another make of modem into that 1000 lot. These things take time. Trust me on this! I work in a similar business.
