I was in Las Vegas yesterday and attended Schmidt's keynote. While the article correctly described the attendence and the audience's reaction it didn't give enough weight to the content. Although Schmidt was not as polished as the other keynotes I saw, the demonstration did make the arguement that Novell is doing things today that Microsoft is only promising in the future. Computer geeks are logical people (as evidenced by their lack of gambling in Las Vegas) and won't make illogical decisions about their networks.
