Hi Paul -

Do you see any other stocks similar to IBM where what they do is transparent and the company can maintain their growth during good and bad times? Only one comes to my mind where the board recently approved to increase their stock buy back (they feel the company is under priced), raised their dividend and continue to grow despite the slow growth economy. It's Corning Inc. (GLW).

Hewlett-Packard Company (HPQ) doesn't fit the mold. Their board is too dysfunctional. I am sure there are other companies that make the cut but sometimes it takes an investor like Buffet to confirm the obvious.
