My jaw is fully dropped.

16 trillion!

Well, the Fed is following its real mandate. It was formed by group of US banks in 1913 to provide backstopping for deals so New York could become a center of Finance and Profits. Forget the window dressing mandates of employment and currency stability. It has done nothing for them.

Throughout the recent crises, it has made sure the greases kept flowing to its members, but at a staggering cost. Where has all the money gone? Creating an uber-army to pacify the masses? Into thin air?

If I had a large horde of gold, it would seem a good time to pick a very safe storage facility.

The sobering part is it was only a partial audit!
