'The single biggest issue I have with this thread is that many on it are still so blindly following Obama. It's not just the GOP and Fox news that is corrupt as well, but it's also Obama and the Dems who are in bed with Wall Street and the big banks.' WS controls both parties obviously but to me it is much deeper and darker with the GOP ties. Why else would the GOP keep Warren as far away as possible and always push for deregulation, and lower taxes for the ultra rich and the storyline that it was all government socialized policies and Fannie/Freddie that caused the housing/credit bubble and bust. Also do you realize FHA/VA was at well below 1% of loan production during the bubble yet today makes up about a third of all loans.. And we had our two biggest credit juiced bubbles that lead to our two worst downturns in the modern era only when the GOP had total control with a third one the S&L/RTC fiasco when the GOP was closest to complete domination in the mid 80's. I think as usual the GOP story is the reverse of the truth..
