I suggest you study Corel Corp. and their commitment to Java, made about 18 t 24 months ago.

They attempted to port all their "office" software - Wordperfect, Quattro Pro, Corel Draw, etc. - to JAVA.

Study the results - they have been documented recently in PC Week and other pertinent publications.

You will learn why Corel is in deep trouble today - and why NONE OF THEIR software currently runs under Java.
