LOL!!! Not really, there's no reason more than one culture can't share the use of the same pentatonic scale... after the guy's presentation, the melody really does sound like an african chant, definitely not chinese... although the chinese culture also uses the pentatonic scale, i think their music sounds distinctively different, you can recognize chinese music when you hear it... Amazing Grace doesn't sound chinese...
