Amigo-- No need to be so timid with your opinions, let it out! Actually, I've been enjoying your posts (here and other threads) immensely. Even when I disagree with your concepts, I do respect the integrity and thinking process. Maybe I should be careful about offerin' ya any encouragement... that isn't sumthin' you appear to need. Aww, what the hell: keep up the good works. Paul

(OFF TOPIC) I can't locate Copley Pacific Securities. I sent out some inquiries to brokers and investment pros that are closer to legal machinery than I am currently. No one has ever heard of this firm. Then, I did an Excite Alta-Vista on them. Nothing, except some obscure reference to a firm that apparently sells Class Action Lawsuit Against Corporations how-to books. There is a small virtual brokerage in LA called Pacific that was recently gobbled up by Mellon Bank purportedly for net brokerage market entry purposes. I wrote a net agent in J++ that will ferret out just about anything but it came back empty. On a second try it did bring back something from offshore investing in Bermuda. But pursuing that line in Hot Bot took me nowhere.

Undeclared shorting. Declare your shorts before you take 'em. Some years ago I remember this guy doing just that. He had a homongous short position in Resorts International. Everyone knew he was loaded and had to cover so they drove the stock from 60 to 192. He threw in the towel and covered. The stock promptly fell 50 points and bottomed some years later at something like 60. Oh, forgot, declare them under Blue Skies then you'll be protected from the guys hiding in Cuba.
