TULSA, Okla., Nov 19 (Reuters) - Corporate Vision Inc, the CD-ROM, CD-i and Internet products company, said Thursday it signed a letter of interest with an unamed private corporation.

"Our research on the current field of merger candidates is now focused on one specific private corporation...we have signed a letter of interest with this leading candidate," CVI chief executive officer Jack Arnold said in a statement.

Company officials were not immediately available to comment further on the deal.

Arnold said the company is reviewing the merger to ensure it creates a "mutually profitable fit," for the two companies.

Based on preliminary results, the company anticipates the review will lead to a signed letter of intent in the very near future and culminate in a formal merger agreement as quickly as is reasonably
possible, Arnold said.
