Yes I have heard of this it will work also, different things will work for different people. My strategy would not have you down by 10 - 15% since I average down into the fall. I also start off buying small and increase as prices fall. With NE, which I bought for the first time on this down move, I wanted 2000 total, so I broke it down like so: 200 at 33 1/4, 300 at 32 1/4, 500 at 31 1/4. This gives me a total of 1000 at an average of 31 15/16. I still have a 1000 left to buy if we drop further and I would be prepared to buy as low as the 200 day moving average. If everything holds and we base then I may buy more in this range but not all at once, always leaving dry powder for a sudden downturn. If everything skyrockets then I just hold on with what I have. What's wrong with this strategy in your mind?

Greg
