I assume that people say what they mean and mean what they say, especially when offered every opportunity to revise and extend, especially when the communication is in writing. I realize that that won't always happen given that bad faith and stupidity exist, but believe that it's constructive and healthy in society to award everyone that courtesy unless and until they demonstrate otherwise. One of those "rules for living that," on balance, "work very well." It's my problem because I don't pick up on the cues you send. I'm not trying to make it your problem. Just clarifying and closing the loop on the off chance that you are paying attention and that it might produce an "aha" moment. It's a communication problem and a difference in values. All I can do is to read actively, remain open, and explain fully and carefully, IOW, operate thoughtfully and in good faith. That isn't always fruitful. Or appreciated. <g>...filled with nonsensical arguments... You can judge them off the cuff to be nonsensical or irrelevant or whatever if you like. But until and unless you demonstrate them to be such via a rationale, they aren't. Blowing off arguments contemporaneously and the judging them in toto to be nonsensical or otherwise worthless after the fact is lame....that are clearly just for the sake of being argumentive I see that the concept of argumentation is still eluding you. Horse to water...I can't imagine anyone caring. I care, just as a matter of integrity. You've long since made it clear that you don't care. And I seriously doubt that anyone else is masochistic enough or bored enough to have even read our exchange beyond the first few posts.
