Prevention is what Michelle Obama is trying to do, and the Republicrooks are fighting her tooth and nail. Just yesterday the in-the-pocket GOP smashed one of her efforts to get French Fries and Pizza, both pretty much fat filled but nutrition wanting, removed from school cafeteria menus. Tomato paste is now a vegetable, according to the elephant party. Shoot, tomatoes are wonderful, but they aren't vegetables. Tomato paste is basically tomato turned to garbage and it SURE isn't a vegetable. And the GOP admits they responded to the potato industry and pizza industry, both of which have major lobbies. Heck, there is nothing wrong with potatoes, which are loaded with Vitamin C and potassium. It is the greasy Froggie Fry Michelle doesn't like.

Amazing how Republicans can depend deep fried, usually trans fat laden fries when Dan Quayle proved they can't even spell potato.

One of my right wing friends was poking fun at Michelle's visit to an organic farm in Hawaii. "Yeah, we need imported organic vegetables." I tried to tell him that Hawaii is a state, but I don't think he was buying that. <G>
