One reason is we've learned taxes on the rich become (as they are planned to be) taxes on the middle class. Like the AMT which hits me but not Warren Buffet. Another is the left's dishonest tax the rich argument is based on a lie about the 'fair share.' If the top 1% of taxpayers pay 40% of income taxes, that's more than fair. Another is we know the class warfare stuff is chaff to throw people off the country's real economic problem ... over-spending and ever-growing government power.
