Whingers and bludgers. <A nation of whingers. > Whinging about the bludgers is of course sensible since it's illegal to do anything to stop them other than voting and they have the majority so the bludging just increases while the productive flee to Oz and elsewhere. But it's good to keep foreigners at bay unless they pay the going rate for a Tradable Citizenship. Centuries of effort to build a country should not be handed over to somebody else without payment, same as selling a house should involve payment, not just open the door and let more people move in until the bedrooms are full, the fridge is empty, the electricity bill is not being paid and the newbies have cleaned the place out and wrecked it. Living a Hippie Commune life sounds great, but the reality of how people live is that bludgers bludge, robbers rob and personal space and property are actually a good way to live. Socialists haven't figured it out. User pays is the way to run things. I'm happy to have foreigners not buying [unless they are paying the going rate]. The roads are crowded enough already thanks. There's enough crime too. And I don't wish to convert to Islamic Jihad under threat of death. Nor do I want China's politburo authoritarian way of life. Mqurice
