more info on echomedia business and some of the fees they receive:

EchoMedia's Interactive Advertising Comes with Tracking

EchoMedia, Inc., formerly Everflow, LLC, has announced the availability of interactive advertising
on their electronic response card (ERC). Advertisers' electronic ads will be displayed on PC screens
nationwide. The interactive ads are inserted on third-party CD-ROMs and hard drives, reaching PC
owners while they are using their computers. Prices start as low as $3600 per insertion, with other
levels of commitment available. Each response to an ad is invisibly tracked and recorded through the
ERC response mechanism, solving the long time dilemma of measuring ROI. Responses are delivered
to the advertiser in a database format of their choice for $0.25 per record. Response rates have ranged
from 35%-95%.

EchoMedia secures relationships with software publishers, hard drive manufacturers, and Web page
publishers nationwide that allows them to insert electronic interactive advertisements on their
distribution. The ERC is a software program distributed as a registration/tracking tool for CD-ROMs
and soon Internet WWW home pages. Current advertisers include USA Today, TV Host, Time
Warner New Media, and Quarterdeck. (EchoMedia, 26 Coddington Wharf, Building 1 North,
Newport, RI; 401/842-0002)

cheers, gary

I believe Netz does have another release regarding another contract
coming out shortly, it may be tied to a well known household products company. That is who they met with yesterday for signature, and I was advised the trip was successful. They also advised me another release would be forthcoming in a couple of days. We were talking about this at the time.
