'So pick your poison. I've of the opinion that you take your lumps early and then move forward. So that is why I'm diametrically opposed to what we've done' If I recall you live somewhere out west. Well here in FL we took out lumps early and quite often. Small business and anything tied to RE has been in a depression for four years only being saved by so much equity and capital flowing our way from other more still prosperous areas.. Only reason I was not wiped out or totally demoralized was I cashed out as much as I could and didn't not buy a single piece of RE for well over four years. Clearing out this cycle will take a good decade from start to finish with different regions and sectors hit at different times exactly as Bernanke intended to do in order to avoid a wide scale depression across the board in unison..
