I think that's what I said. Owning the patents and making a fortune from royalties was NOT what owning AMTX was going to be about.

The analyst comments were to the effect that since WSTL lost AMTX intellectual property via the broken merger, they would suffer and hence a downgrade. I disagree on that point.

Andreas: I was led to believe that Siemens was using AMTX modems in a number of trials. Westell now has the rights to those modems It's premature at this time to think that Westell and Siemens can't continue this relationship. NEC was also using AMTX modems in a number of trials. What will happen to the NEC VDSL solution is still unknown, but the TI solution will provide a migration path to VDSL... until later.
