I like Cain and I think he would be good for the country -- particularly if paired and elected with Gingrich. With that said, I recognize some liabilities when it comes to the voting public. The sex scandal is bogus but not his brain freeze moment. What that event demonstrated was an inability to "bullshit on the fly." Now, that ability is absolutely essential for any Presidential candidate when facing a hostile press. I think we can all agree that there were any number of ways Cain might have handled the situation; but, hemming and hawing was the absolute worst option. Don't forget, lesser behavioral glitches sunk Perry early on -- and wounded Palen during her interviews in 2008. As for Rudi, he has some liberal tendencies; however, he is wise enough to pick his battles and try not to upset any group when possible -- if you hadn't noticed, some of the in-your-face gays and lesbians, like Rosie O’Donnell, can be forever vicious and vindictive. Of course, the acceptance of homosexuality is not Judeo-Christian; however, Christians are told they should love the sinner while despising the sin, right? The same risks accompany the abortion issue. It is impossible to resolve without pissing off one side or the other. I personally believe in the sanctity of life, and I am anti-abortion period; however, when it comes to fertility, I wonder, what do you do with all those viable yet un-implanted embryos that will never be used?
