Gary,

Looks workable -- use of the line terminator ';' appears consistent with languages like 'C' and 'Ada', I am confident it will make your parser more deterministic in reporting errors.

I assume you are using the 'do' to delineate the instruction block in the same way that the 'then' does for an 'if' statement? I only ask because you did not seem to need it before. Doing so should make the parser much simpler.

Other then that I see nothing different then that offered in the current Q+R2 syntax. Am I missing something?

And.....Have you worked out a schedule as to when existing beta testers will be recieving r232 (BTW: asked with baited breath)?

Jeff

(Later edit: this is Andy and have recently changed my name to Jeff, my new address is ....

Thanks Gary, looking forwards to it)

Thanks Gary- coversion is seamless so far. I cut 60% of my scan time down- ran two scans on entire database- previously 15 minutes on Pentium 120 with 48 MB ram. Tonight it took 6 minutes. No problem with converting existing scans once I figured out semicolon locations required.

Thanks from me and Dale too.....
