Friend/ The Investors Digest is published by MPL who also put out a couple of other letter things. Someone started a thread at exchange2000.com

The Inv. Digest is tabloid format and does contain a reasonable (imo) source of info. on primarily Cdn. situations. For a 1 yr. introductory price you shouldn't have to pay more than $37 - I think Greenline has the thing in one of their catalogs. Regular price is somewhere around $130ish.

Also, fwiw - most of the info. contained is somewhat "stale" (approx. 7 - 9 weeks) by the time it arrives via snail mail. For longer-term value situations probably the time-lag isn't critical. For short-term timing purposes you may be better served elsewhere (full-service brokerage?).

disclaimer: I'm not connected with full service brokerage but do use both full-service and discount setups. Sometimes the "full service commission" pays for itself. You decide.

Friend /NPP
<<I remember reading somewhere that one of the brokerage houses came up with a $2-3/sh NAV. >>

I would be very interested in seeing that evaluation if you can remember who did it.
cheers.........rik
