yes thats probably what happens to chinese who swindle chinese investors. my guess is it doesnt happen to chinese who swindle the white-devils. As far as the U.S. goes, I think anything goes. The SEC finally got around to disciplining the people left who managed not to find any problems with Madoff despite getting the info served to them on a platter. a few slaps on the wrist, no one was fired. The SEC has proven itself to be completely inadequate to protect shareholders. Then we have the people in charge of auditing and supervising MF global run by a former ceo of Goldman Sacks and Governor of NJ. Yet somehow $600 million of customer funds goes missing after two weeks they cant find the money. How is this possible?
