That's JUST why we were out this weekend and buying....If our Government was so stupid as to gut an entire industry that has worked well for 100+ years, and now to outlaw sales of the 100watt bulbs, a mainstay of bulbs, it stands to reason that it will be soon tough to find other incandescent bulbs too....

And the nice young man who was trying (sorta) to help us find things, gave me a sales pitch on some of the coming new bulbs....I told him I was sorry for he and all the young people just like him....These things don't save much energy at all....if any ...and the new ones are a whole lot more expensive (the tag says they will last for LOTS longer....) I'll believe that when I see it...anything the Government has anything to do with in the last few years is suspect as far as I'm concerned.

i.e. the new VERY expensive electric plug in and battery operated cars....many of the companies are folding....WHY didn't ANYone in the Government bother to ask Engineers what they thought of this goof-off program????

And on a side note, if anyone has any crystal or fancy chandeliers, better go look at the NEW bulbs for those expensive fixtures.

The nice young man went to find one of the new superdooper bulbs to show me....I'm sorry, I just couldn't help laughing out loud.....

I said to him "JUST wait till the non paying attention public gets a whiff of what the government has done".....You think I'm laughing....Just you wait till you hear the entire store first guffawing (is that a word), and then in unison, getting really mad....
