They are already sucking the savers dry. No interest at the bank. So people take more risk and buy dividend paying stocks. So they want to tax dividends at a higher rate so they can suck the responsible retirees more dry. Not a lot of cap gains left to pay tax on anyway but you can only take a net $3k loss a year. They need it to pay for unfunded pensions. The stupor committe can't even make cuts. Military included. They want it all John...
