Alex Brown & Soundview reiterate "Strong Buy" and "Buy"... I received analyst reports from Alex Brown (Chris Crespi & Chelsea Hardesty) which is dated 11/19/97. It reiterates its "STRONG BUY" 3 points: 1. Based on strategic alliance with TI 2. Receipt of $14.8 million 3. " We maintain our "strong buy" rating on the stock as a leading investment in broad xDSL deployment to the home and small business market". I also have analyst report from Soundview (Kevin Slocum @12:05pm EST on 11/20/97) which also reiterated their buy. This was 1 1/2 pages. Although they were disappointed that the deal with AMTX fell apart, "it was not the basis for our buy rating and the turn of events will not precipitate a change in our opinion." "We remain a buyer of the stock..." Overall, very encouraging points throughout!
