It will be illegal for anyone to sell 100 watt bulbs in the U.S. after Dec 31, 2011.

Neeka is right about the end of the 100watt by Dec 31, 2011.....If those bulbs are too high for you to reach, please find a young person to get up to see what the manufacturer recommends...usually there is a small sign in the fixture that says "use only (blank) watt bulb or less) ...i.e. 60 watt or less...

There is a link on a post I made a few days ago to Neeka that is an excellent source for the types of bulbs, and the legislation that will outlaw them, and when....
