I seem to remember that the double life bulbs use more energy because the filaments are thicker so they will last longer.

I have to go to Everett today and they still have a K-Mart there. I think I'll stop in and see if I can find some 100 watt bulbs.

I got 5 boxes of 100 watt bulbs at K-mart yesterday. I still need to get some spotlights for our track lighting (old fashioned kind) then I'll be set.

The pass looks good, so you shouldn't have any trouble on your trip.
