I strongly suspect that there is MUCH more going on behind the scenes that any of us are aware.

Indeed.. I suspect the same.. Someone has had to prop up Europe's sovereign debt and it appeared that Corzine used MF Global's segregated account money, juiced it up to between 40 to 100:1 and bought the bad debt of the PIIGS.

So if Corzine was doing this crazy trade, it makes one wonder if he's part of a financial cabal that is doing the very same thing to prop up European bonds?

Btw, given that Gold/Silver are traded as commodities, generally on the future markets, any drain in liquidity from MG Global and other suspect firms, will likely have a serious impact on the PMs.

I like cash, and or short ETFs (though the latter are dangerous as well).. Cash is king, and await either the eventual crash, or some sign that credibility is returning to US markets.
